Desert Rose is the exclusive Japanese distributor for the great Tony Pass Lost Timbre ¤ banjo rims. Tony's rims are a proprietary block design using the now famous Timeless Timber &0164;, centuries old recovered old growth wood from the Great Lakes.

Tony's Lost Timbre rims are made of old growth birch, as well, old growth maple is available on request.

Lost Timbre rims can be custom ordered for literally any banjo; open back or resonator model; and 11 or 12 inch models are available. We can supply custom pot assemblies for your existing neck and resonator, or your personal building projects. Pot assemblies can be ordered with any popular tone ring including Tennessee Twenty, JLS, Hopkins and Blaylock to mention just a few.
